ARRIVAL & PICK UP
The first day of your exciting journey begins with an overnight arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Upon arrival, you will meet one of our guides, easily identifiable by a sign with the name “Into the Wild”. Once you are at the airport, your guide will drive you to your hotel in Entebbe.
This is a short drive with a duration of about 10 minutes.
After a long day of travelling, it is time to relax and unwind before embarking on the exciting adventures that awaits in the morning.
You will have a morning breakfast, after embark on safari transferring to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park It’s a car journey of approximately 9-10 hours.
Bwindi Impenetrable NP is a unique place in the world, known to be home to more than a half of the remaining endangered mountain gorillas. You will enjoy the landscapes and make stops along the way if needed.
When we arrive at our destination, check into the lodge and enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge’s restaurant, where you can relax and recharge your batteries for the exciting experiences that await you over the next day.
N.B: There is an option of flying from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip at an extra cost.
BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, we will venture into the mountains to start the exciting tracking of mountain gorillas. It will be a unique opportunity to get up close to these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
Accompanied by a professional guide, you will learn about their behavior and conservation while sharing unforgettable moments with them. Additionally, you will enjoy a hike through the mountains, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes that will leave you breathless.
After an exciting and adventure-filled day, return to the lodge and rest. Later you will head to go for a fascinating cultural tour with the Batwa Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
This immersive experience offers a unique insight into the lives and traditions of the Batwa Pygmies, the original inhabitants of the forest.
Attend demonstrations of traditional Batwa skills, such as fire making and shelter building. The Batwa will also share their ancient stories, songs and traditional dances, providing a rich cultural experience.
Later, dinner awaits you at the lodge’s restaurant, where you can enjoy in a delicious dinner and serve local dishes.
EQUATOR – KAMPALA/ENTEBBE
You begin the day with a morning breakfast, check out and head to Kampala with a special stopover at the Equator line. It will be a unique opportunity to be in two hemispheres at the same time. Proceed to Entebbe and depending on time of departure, you will be taken to the airport for your flight thus marking the end of safari.
N.B: There is an option of flying from Kihihi Airstrip to Entebbe International Airport at an extra cost.
NOTE
Primate permits: Gorilla tracking will depend on the sector in which the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) grants us permission to carry out the activity. Under no circumstances is this something we can decide, so it could be in any of the different sectors of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo, Rushaga, or Mgahinga). The UWA also reserves the right to modify, change, or assign these permits in any of the aforementioned sectors, either due to overbooking or for reasons they deem necessary for management, even if this means in some cases having to separate passengers from the same tour.
Payment: The trip will be confirmed after the first deposit payment of $500 per person plus $800 for gorilla permits The final payment (second payment) must be made one month before the start of the trip. For mid-range and luxury accommodations, the initial payment required will be 30% of the cost of ground services plus $800 for gorilla permits
Payment method: Bank Transfer.
Accommodations: The accommodation offered will be guaranteed once the customer confirms the reservation. If the accommodations are not available, we will proceed to change to others with similar amendments.

- Private vehicle transportation (plus fuel).
- English-speaking guide/driver (also during chimpanzee and gorilla tracking and/or during visits accompanied by a local English-speaking guide).
- Mineral water during the journey.
- Cruises, boats, and ferries specified in the program.
- Entrance fees to parks/permits (gorillas $800) and activities according to the itinerary. Costs are fixed and established by national parks.

- International flights.
- Medical and/or travel insurance.
- Visa for Uganda.
- Personal expenses such as beverages (soft drinks, water, wine, beer, spirits…), tips, phone calls, etc.
- Any other item not included in the itinerary.
