PRIVAT SAFARI
In Uganda, roads are often unsafe, with potholes appearing unexpectedly and people, livestock, or even wild animals suddenly crossing.
For this reason, self-driving is not always safe.
We offer a wide range of private safaris. You will travel in a private vehicle with an English-speaking driver/guide who will accompany you throughout your entire safari. This means you won’t be driving yourself.
The advantage of a private safari is that you don’t have to adjust to other travelers’ schedules. Want to spend more time watching a pride of lions? Or return early to your lodge for a refreshing swim?
The choice is entirely yours.
SAFARI VEHICLES
During your journey through Uganda, you will normally travel in a minibus, or for an additional cost, in a 4×4 vehicle. The minibus is comfortable and well-suited for covering longer distances.
The 4×4 offers enhanced driving comfort and is highly recommended during the rainy season.
Both vehicles are equipped with a pop-up roof, providing excellent visibility and ideal conditions for photography.
Regardless of the vehicle type, you will have your own private vehicle with a dedicated driver/guide throughout the entire trip. He knows the landscape and understands animal behavior, ensuring you experience your journey in a safe and comfortable way.
GORILLA TRACKING
One of the most unforgettable wildlife experiences in the world awaits you in Uganda:
coming face to face with endangered mountain gorillas in the wild.
Trek through the dense rainforests of Bwindi or Mgahinga, guided by expert rangers, and spend a magical hour observing a gorilla family in their natural surroundings. We arrange your gorilla permit in advance, so all you need to do is enjoy the adventure.
A humbling and powerful encounter you’ll never forget.
EXCURSIONS & ADVENTURE
In addition to gorillas, chimpanzees, and breathtaking nature, Uganda also offers plenty of action and adventure.
Explore the “Little Switzerland” region around Kisoro: canoe across the serene waters of Lake Mutanda, take an adventurous hike through Bwindi, climb Mount Mgahinga, or search for the rare golden monkey.
In Jinja, thrill-seekers can enjoy white-water rafting on the legendary Nile River, quad biking, or horseback riding.
For golf enthusiasts, there are several golf courses scattered across the country — perfect for practicing your swing between safaris.
